Arijanet Muric will join Nottingham Forest on loan from City

Arijanet Muric requested to the club that he wants to be loaned in order to get regular playing time, and Championship side Nottingham Forest finally won the race to bring the Kosovan goalkeeper to their side.

Muric will sign a one-year contract with Nottingham after the Blues confirmed his loan.

Before returning to the Etihad, he had a loan spell in Dutch club NAC Breda. After his loan in the Eradivisie side, he made a total of 6 appearances for City throughout the 2018-19 season.

Nottingham Forrest previously had Costel Pantilimon as first choice, Luke Steele as second choice, and Jordan Smith on loan at Football League Two club Mansfield Town.

Arijanet Muric is expected to be first choice until his loan ends.
