Wifried Zaha is Arsenal's number one target in terms of attacking option. Tottenham is reportedly also admiring the Ivorian forward however he is not their main transfer target.
Unai Emery is only given £45m to spend after an unsuccessful season and had secured a £25m bid for Celtic's Kieran Tierney. Arsenal made their first bid to Crystal Palace: a bid of £40m.
It may seem unlikely that Palace would accept the bid, since the Eagles value the forward at £80m, with the fact that £25m will be used for Kieran Tierney.

Arsenal recently sold Colombian goalkeeper David Ospina to Napoli for £3.15m. It won't be enough to sign all Unai Emery's targets, including Ajax duo, Hakim Ziyech and David Neres. Both players were impressive for Ajax next season, and Arsenal are not alone, as they face competition from PSG and Manchester United.
Zaha had a satisfying season for the Eagles last season. In 36 matches, he scored 10 goals and assisted 10 goals.
He recently spoke that he wants a bigger challenge which he meant is European football. His brother Judicael Zaha mentioned that Wilfried supported Arsenal since childhood and hoped that the South London club would let him leave for cheaper price.
