Asier Riego will be third-choice goalie

Recent post mentioned that Manchester City was interested in signing the second-choice Eibar goalkeeper, and why.

Now, his contract at Eibar has ended and he or Claudio Bravo is expected to replace Ederson should he cannot play due to injury or suspension.

The 35 year old Spaniard signed a one-year contract at the Etihad. When his contract at Manchester City ended, he will retire, and directly established as Manchester City's goalkeeping coach.

He will be third-choice at Manchester City, behind Ederson Moraes and Claudio Bravo.
