Atleti to punish Griezmann for missing training session

Los Rojiblancos has taken an action for Antoine Griezmann missing their pre-season training on purpose, hoping that the deal could be finalized as soon as possible.

Reports from Spain several days ago revealed that Barcelona will pay Griezmann's release clause which is €120m, however, Griezmann's actions cannot be tolerated by Diego Simeone's side.

Atletico has decided not to negotiate with Barcelona regarding the former Real Sociedad until he shows up on training and follows the team.

If both La Liga sides have made a deal he is free to leave Wanda Metropolitano.

The World Cup winner is not the only one who took such actions to quicken the transactions. Luka Modric, Gareth Bale, Ousmane Dembele and Riyad Mahrez also miss training sessions with their former club.
