The 30-year old Gabonese striker was a top target for Manchester United after being the highest goalscorer of Arsenal, 22 goals.
Romelu Lukaku is set to leave Old Trafford and heading to Antonio Conte's Inter Milan and now Manchester United need to find a striker who can replace Lukaku.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang decided to switch for a move to Premier League rivals Manchester United.
Arsenal boss Unail Emery is only given £45m to spend in the transfer window and it's not enough to pay for Wilfried Zaha, William Saliba, and probably Hakim Ziyech.
He had spells with AC Milan, Dijon(loan), Lille(loan), Monaco(loan), Saint-Etienne, and Borrusia Dortmund before playing for the Gunners.

Arsenal bought the Gabon international from Dortmund for £57m 1.5 years ago. He had been Arsenal's goalscoring machine, scoring 31 goals and giving 8 assists in 51 games.
The club must ask for a higher fee for the forward in order to maximize their transfer budget.
Aubameyang's move to Manchester United will only happen if Romelu Lukaku leaves Old Trafford.
Aubemeyang's contract at Arsenal will expire at June 2021.
