Chelsea's managerial role has been vacant since Maurizio Sarri's departure to Juventus, and Chelsea is desperate to find the right manager who can help the Blues win trophies next season.

Frank Lampard, former Chelsea player, is a possible candidate, and his current club, Derby County, allowed Chelsea to speak with him personally.
"Derby County Football Club can confirm that they have granted permission for Chelsea Football Club to speak to Frank Lampard about the vacant managerial position at Stamford Bridge. With pre-season fast approaching for both clubs it is hoped this will allow Chelsea to swiftly conclude their discussions. The club will make no further comment until it is appropriate to do so," the club voiced.
Frank Lampard is expected to replace Maurizio Sarri in Chelsea along with former teammates, including Didier Drogba.
Juventus paid £7m to Chelsea as compensation to offload Sarri. Derby required Stamford Bridge to pay £4m if the Blues want to secure Lampard's services next season.

Lampard played a lot of young players at Derby and this could be good news for youngsters who want to break into the senior squad.
