Fabian Delph eyed by Everton and Galatasaray

Updated: Jul 10, 2019

Manchester City midfielder Fabian Delph is near to the Etihad's exit door, and Premier League rival, Everton, and Super Lig club Galatasaray is a possible destination for the 29-year old.

In the 2018-19 season he only managed to make 20 appearances for the Blues and he is not happy with that.

The Englishman wants more playing time in order to be regularly called up to the England national team.

Guardiola is happy with his ability as a versatile player and his identity as an English player became City's benefits of keeping him with them.

However, Guardiola trusted the midfield side on Kevin De Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan, Bernando Silva, David Silva, Phil Foden, Zinchenko, and Fernandinho, which made him lost place in the main squad.

Everton offered £16m for Delph and if he joins the Toffees, it could be a great addition to Marco Silva's squad as the former Leeds player can play in other positions: defensive midfielder, left-back and right-back.

On the other hand, Galatasaray is making Delph their number-one target this summer.

City is willing to terminate Delph's contract which ends at 2020 if the Englishman is keen for a move. Delph is valued at £16m by the Blues.
