First bid for Zaha rejected

Arsenal recently submitted a £40m bid for Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha. However, the South London club rejected the bid, which is far away from the club's value for the Ivorian, which stands at £80m.

Zaha's response to Arsenal links

After his side Ivory Coast beat Namibia 4-1 in the Africa Cup of Nations in the group stage, he was asked about his thoughts regarding Arsenal's desire to sign him.

"I don’t know we’ll see in the future," Zaha said. "I have no comment on it the only thing that’s on my mind now is trying to win this cup. I’m fixated on is how far we go in the tournament."
