Former Real Madrid goalie, Iker Casillas, announces his short break from professional football.
He suffered a heart attack two months ago and upon returning to training, he decided that taking a break instead of pressuring himself is best for him.
He is expected to join Porto's backroom staff.
Iker Casillas became the youngest goalkeeper ever to play in the 1997-1998 CHampions League, aged 18. He helped Real Madrid win the UCL thrice, La Liga 5 times and the Copa del Rey twice. In 2010, he led Spain to the World Cup trophy.
In the summer of 2015, he signed for Porto FC, and Real Madrid replaced him with Keylor Navas.
