James prefers Atletico move

James Rodriguez is currently not a part of Zinedine Zidane's plans for next season, and the Frenchman has told the club to sell him, although he performed well in Bayern Munich. Though he performed well in Germany, Bayern coach Niko Kovac doesn't see him in his plans for the 2019-20 season.

The Colombian is now linked to Napoli and Atletico Madrid, who are interested in getting his services. Recently, Napoli wants to loan the 28-year-old however Real wanted to balance their books quickly.

This cause things more complicated and time-wasting as both clubs wants to find a way out with contradicting intents.

Atletico is also fond of the Colombian and gets another lead as the player prefers staying in Madrid and doesn't want to move.
