Joao Felix will earn €3.5m per season in Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid recently offered €126m for the 19-year old to Benfica and the Portugese club seemed interested in the offer and will agree to it.

Benfica extended his release clause to €120m when clubs began scouting him. Atletico paid €126m since the Spanish giant wants to pay in installments.

He will be given a five-year contract and will earn €3.5m per season, meaning €17.5 if he stays until his contract expires.

However, the La Liga side seemed to be aware that it is not the only one hunting for the wonderkid, and so sticked a €250m release clause in the Portugal international.
