Fenway Sports Group(FSG) has prepared another approached for an extension, although he is still tied with Anfield until 2022. He currently earns £7m per season, and the new contract may increase his earning to £10m.
After bringing Liverpool to a Champions League triumph and earning a second-place in the Premier League, FSG will not doubt giving Klopp another contract to sign in order to extend the duration of his coaching services and secure them from pursuers.

Klopp, 52, felt ill in November 2017 and was admitted to hospital. He is worried that the same thing could happen again considering his increasing age.
This is the main reason why he decides too long whether to sign a new one or not.
He started his managerial success with Mainz(2001-2008), then Dortmund(2008-2015), then Liverpool(2015-now). Seeing that he coached Mainz and Dortmund for 7 years the left, Liverpool is particularly worried about this, since his first spell until the end of his contract with the Reds is 7 years.
