Mourinho in talks with China's richest man for managing Guangzhou Evergrande

Jose Mourinho is in talks with Hui Ka Yan, the richest man in China, over a possible deal to replace current Guangzhou Evergrande manager Fabio Cannavaro.

Jose Mourinho is out of the managerial role sice his sacking by Manchester United at December 2018. Now there is a possibility that he may take full charge of CSL side Guangzhou Evergrande or a national team.

Guangzhou Evergrande might be Jose Mourinho's next destination

Hui Ka Yan is considering hiring Jose Mourinho as Guangzhou Evergrande's new manager, seeing his backgrounds and achievements with several European clubs.

Regarded as the richest man in the East Asian country, Hui is the chairman of Evergrande Group, one of China’s biggest property business. The business is worth £33 billion.

Mourinho has decided to return coaching in the 2019-20 season, and had several clubs linked to the Portugese manager. The 56-year old has recently expressed his interest in coaching a national team.

Chinese businessmen, one of them is Hui, are keen to increase the quality and strength of Chinese football. The Chinese government has very high ambitions for the national team to host the World Cup or/and qualify for the World Cup.
