Oleksandr Zinchenko's shirt number next season

Manchester City mifielder Oleksandr wore the number 35 in the Etihad last season, and sometimes became replacement for the injured Benjamin Mendy.

The Ukrainian can play in three position: defensive midfielder, left midfielder, or left back and his flexible position including his performances earned him a new contract in the Blues, which will end in June 2024.

His shirt number will also be changed, as a proof of trust by the club board. He will wear the number 11, which is previously worn by Roma's Aleksandar Kolarov in the 2014-15 and 2016-17 season.

The Premier League champion bought the 22-year old from Russian club Ufa for €2m. He was loaned to PSV Eindhoven for 1 year and came back to the Etihad in June 2017.

He made 43 appearances for the Blues since then and registered 1 goal and 5 assists.
