Philippe Sandler to join Anderlecht on loan

Manchester City U-23 center-back Philippe Sandler is to join Belgian side RSC Anderlecht on loan. Former City player Vincent Kompany is prepared to steal some talents from his former club to fix Anderlecht's disappointing 2018-19 season.

He was spotted at Belgium arranging his loan deal with the Belgian First Division A club. His controversial agent Mino Raiola is expected to help his client manage the loan.

However, Vincent Kompany's side will not be able to buy the Dutch permanently should his loan ends. The Etihad is prepared to loan him without a buy option.

The center-back started only 8 matches for the Premier League champion this season and will be happy for a loan to Belgium.

Manchester City signed Sandler in the summer of 2018 from his native Dutch PEC Zwolle. The Blues paid €2.5m for the Netherlands U-21 debutant.

He featured in Anderlecht's unofficial friendly against Ajax where the Eradivisie side gained a 5-2 victory.
