Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain had talked with Spanish side Sevilla to discuss a transfer for attacking midfielder Pablo Sarabia.

He joined Sevilla from Getafe for €1m in 2016 and he had been in good form throughout the 2018-19 season, which explains why PSG is interested in him. The player has a €18m release clause, which can be splashed easily by the French side.
He attracted interest also from Europa League winners Chelsea, Real Madrid, Villareal and Italian side Roma. Chelsea is under a transfer ban which makes the deal very unlikely to happen. While others work too slow to get him, PSG managed to snatch him first.
Sarabia's contract i Sevilla expires at 2020 and his current club wants to extend his contract since he bagged 22 goals and 16 assists, helping the Andalusian club reach 6th in the La Liga table and securing the Europa League group stage.
He had spells in Real Madrid before joining Getafe in 2011.
