Real Madrid and Arsenal 'in talks' over Lucas Vazquez transfer

Real Madrid and Arsenal are in process of negotiating Lucas Vazquez's move to the Gunners.

Arsenal and Real Madrid has agreed a fee of €35m(including €3m add-ons) for the 28-year old. Los Blancos also need to cash in after spending around €300m for Hazard, Mendy, Jovic, and Militao.

Not only the North London club, Ligue 1 champion PSG, Serie A giant Inter Milan, and Bundesliga champion Bayern Munich are seeking Vazquez's services. Unfortunately, the Spaniard snubbed them and sees Premier League as suitable for him, despite being unable to play in the Champions League.

The Galicia-born right-winger started his youth career at Real Madrid then moved to Espanyol. However, in June 2015, Real activated his buy-back clause and he returned back to the Santiago Bernabeau.

In the 2018-19 season, he scored 5 goals and 4 assists in 47 games. Lucas is flexible and can suit to any tactics.

The deal is expected to be closed next week.
