Real Madrid offers Marco Asensio to Liverpool for Sadio Mane

Real Madrid had been interested in Sadio Mane, as the club is impressed by his playing style. He had been linked with Real Madrid in recent months, however, admitted that he wanted to focus on Liverpool.

Sadio Mane had been doing a very good job, scored 26 goals and registered 5 assists with the Reds in 50 matches for Liverpool, also helping Liverpool winning the Champions League. His contract will end at June 2023.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is a fan of left winger Marco Asensio, and because of this, Real Madrid offered the Champions League winner to exchange both players so both sides get a win-win switch.

Marco Asensio is in the swap offer for Sadio Mane

Liverpool will be likely to demand more as Sadio Mane's value in transfermarkt is £108m, while Marco Asensio's value currently stands at £53.8m.

Marco Asensio's contract will expire at June 2023.

Mane had admitted that he was flattered by the link to Los Blancos, however, after winning the Champions League with Liverpool, he is currently on international duty with Senegal to win the Africa Cup of Nations.
