Real Madrid hasn't forgotten about Christian Eriksen and is still determined to secure his signature, according to Don Balor.

Although Zinedine Zidane prefers Paul Pogba due to tactical reasons, Florentino Perez are not willing to pay a full €150m and only accept lower cash plus one or two players. Therefore the signing of the Dane would be much cheaper.
Eriksen's contract expires in 2020, and he already informed Tottenham that he will leave fo a 'new challenge'. Two choices for Los Blancos is that they pay and sign him this summer, or wait until he becomes a free agent next year.
However, Real Madrid also could use another payment method for the 27-year-old. By giving Dani Ceballos or Mariano Diaz plus cash, the Lilywhites is happy to accept.

However, Dani Ceballos shone with the Spain U-21 national team which made Real consider whether to sell the 22-year-old or not. Meanwhile, Mariano, who is contracted until 2023, is unwilling to leave Santiago Bernabeu and will fight for his place.
