Ruben Loftus-Cheek will sign new 5-year contract with Chelsea

23-year old midfieder Ruben Loftus-Cheek had signed a new contract with the Blues that will tie him in Stamford Bridge until he turned 28.

Chelsea inserted a £150k per week wage offer in his contract, 2.5 times higher than the £60k per week that he earned before signing the contract.

He will be in Frank Lampard's plan when he starts coaching the Blues. Especially when the London-based club is in a transfer ban, they must avoid losing a key player who wrote 10 goals and 5 assists in 40 matches to his name. His disciplinary record is incredible; he only got a yellow card between those 40 matches.

Loftus-Cheek grew up in Chelsea's youth acadmy since he was eight

Loftus-Cheek was Chelsea's youth academy product. He was loaned to Crystal Palace in July 2017 then returned to Stamford Bridge in May 2018.
