Tanguy Ndombele signed 5-year contract with Tottenham

Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele will move to White Hart Lane after Spurs splashed a club record fee of £55.5 with £9m add-ons. Their previous club record and signing was Davinson Sanchez from Ajax for £42m in August 2017.

The French midfielder also caught the eye of Manchester United, however, he decided to join the Champions League finalist.

The 22-year old will sign a 5-year contract that will earn him £200k per week and be in the top with Harry Kane, who also earns the same. His wage package might prove that Mauricio Pochettino has trust in the France international.

He is expected to replace Belgium midfielder Mousa Dembele, who left for Guangzhou R&F in early 2019.
