Torino and Sampdoria interested in Napoli winger

Napoli winger Simone Verdi is eyed by his former club, Torino. The Serie A side made a bid of €21m excluding bonuses for the Italian, which was rejected by Napoli since the Italian Blues paid Bologna €25m last year, and doesn't want to suffer any loss.

Serie A rival Sampdoria is also reportedly interested in the winger, and Napoli will see both clubs war bidding for the 27-year-old.

Verdi played 24 games for Napoli last season and registered 4 goals and 3 assists. The former Milan winger is tied with the club until June 2023.
