Atletico Madrid has beaten their rivals: Manchester United, Juventus and Napoli for Tottenham defender Kieran Trippier.
Rumors are circulating that Angel Correa will be used as a swap deal for Trippier, however, it seems that the Argentine will not walk away from the Wanda Metropolitano and the Spanish capital is prepared to pay full cash for the England international.
According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Kieran Trippier will certainly join Los Rojiblancos.
The former Burnley man is reported that he will be taking his medical this week, or perhaps today, and Atletico is set to pay £20m fee plus £5m as add-ons.
Tottenham signed the 28-year-old from Burnley for £3.5m and will gain a significant profit from his sale.
Trippier will become the first English player to play for Los Rojiblancos after 95 years of the club's existence.
