Bruno Fernandes has been linked with Manchester United, Manchester City, Tottenham, Liverpool, Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan. However, Manchester City withdrew from the race for the midfielder as both clubs failed to make an agreement. The remaining clubs started to talk with the midfielder's agent and will place a possible bid for the Portugese. Fernandes is valued at around €78m, however, are willing to accept the bid around €50m.
Bruno admitted that he admires Liverpool's style of play under Jurgen Klopp, instead of Manchester City's.
“I like Liverpool a lot more, it’s a more direct, more offensive, maybe less organised, but more intense football, when you do not have the ball possession you are more intense.
In Liverpool they are more individual players, especially in the midfield, usually playing three very aggressive players and recovering the ball, then they have three players at the front who are lethal, when they have the opportunity, to be the difference,” the Sporting midfielder said.
Bruno Fernandes started his career in Boavista, and at 2012, he moved to Italy and played for Novara Calcio, scoring 4 goals in 23 appearances. At 2013, he went to Udinese and score 11 goals in 95 matches. Then he moved to Sampdoria at 2016 which he appeared for 35 times and netted 5 goals. After 1 year at Sampdoria he went back to Portugal and played for Sporting. He has featured for 106 times and scored 47 goals.
He has made 13 caps for Portugal(2017-2019) and netted once at 2018 when his national side drew 1-1 with the United States.
