Why Antoine Griezmann's transfer is very confusing?

Antoine Griezmann is rumored to be moving to the Catalans, and Barca fans have been waiting for his entrace to the club.

Griezmann's future is still uncertain

The World Cup winner had been linked recently with Barca, Manchester United, and PSG. He had signed the half-decade contract extension last year, however, Atletico will sell the Frenchman to Barca for £107m.

The release clause will perhaps be paid next week.

However, things got even more unclear.

Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu said that the deal is not happening.

"There's nothing to announce. We've always said it, we've never spoken to him, there's nothing. We're already seeing how the market is growing these days and weeks," he said.
