Former Manchester City player Yaya Toure officially joined Chinese side Qingdao Huanghai on a free transfer after his contract at Olympiacos was terminated by the Greek side with both parties' consent.
Qiangdao Huanghai currently played in the China League One, the second-tier of Chinese football.

Rumors months ago suggested that he will retire, however, he thrashed the rumors and said that he was open to offers from the Middle East, the United States, and China. The Ivorian legend claimed that he wanted to keep playing.
He came to Manchester City in 2010 from AS Monaco for £24m. He stayed in the club until he left in May 2018 for former club Olympiacos.
