Bayern Munich goalkeeper will consider leaving Bayern Munich, sources say.
He has his dream achieved by winning domestic trophies multiple times and lifting the Champions League trophy for the first time in the 2012-13 season. However, he wants the Bavarians to continue invest in newcomers so that the club can be more competitive next season.

Bayern also had lost some important players: Matt Hummels to Dortmund, Arjen Robben retiring, and Frank Ribery a free agent.
Though the Reds had spend big on Benjamin Pavard and Lucas Hernandez, he feels that the defenders' signing aren't sufficient to be very 'competitive'.
The 33-year old is currently waiting for another challenge in the 2019-20 season. His agent Thomas Kroth spoke that his client is anxious that the Bundesliga champion currently fails to dominate the Champions League and the chances of winning the Champions League become small.

"Manuel is success-oriented," Kroth said. "My impression is that the gap to the top four English top teams is already serious and the Munich squad is currently not yet as competitive or set up to tackle Manuel's goals seriously."
"When he realises that Bayern are responding, then he will probably blossom again. He does not want to retire in 2021. Now he is in the phase in which he has to decide: how will things progress in the future?"
"Signing a contract extension and ending his career at Bayern is of course the obvious option, but it's not the only one."
He has been in Bayern for 8 years since his signing from Schalke for €30m. He has made
336 appearances for the Bavarians and 88 caps for Germany.
He was criticized lately for his performances for both country and club in the 2018-19 season, including the 0-2 humiliating defeat to South Korea.
The 2014 World Cup winner has a high ambition to add another Champions League and the Euro 2020 to his tally.
