L'Equipe claims that Barca has paid Griezmann's buy-out clause

L'Equipe and Marca both have confirmed that Barcelona has paid Antoine Griezmann's release clause. The Catalan club is desperate to let Atletico lower Griezmann's price tag, however, it seems that after the incident, the La Liga champion can't wait for long to officially sign the World Cup winner.

L'Equipe released the news earlier.

Then, Mundo Deportivo and Marca published a cover describing the former Sociedad's transfer to the Champions League semi-finalist.

The Spanish title means that Barcelona will pay the €120m in the La Liga headquarter through a lawyer.

According to Mundo, the 28-year-old will sign a 5-year contract and Barcelona will make an official recruitment when 'his employer notifies his validity of the procedure'.
