Francesco Totti, an Italian former footballer and also Roma's club director, will leave his job after spending 30 years at the club, from 1992 till now.

AS Roma finished sixth and only earn an Europa League ticket.

The Roma legend has dispute with club president James Pallotta and they didn't get along well.

"I resign as a Roma executive," said Totti. "I was hoping that this day never came, instead this ugly and heavy day has arrived. I never had the chance to work on the technical area with Roma. This is far worse than retiring as a player. Leaving Roma is like dying. I feel like it'd be better if I died. This is a club to be loved and supported. There shouldn't be pro-Totti, pro-Pallotta or pro-Baldini factions. Just Roma fans."

He left after his teammate De Rossi decided to land at Los Angeles FC in the Major League Soccer.

It turns out the main reason he left Roma, as stated above, is his dispute. He blamed Roma's American ownership and claimed that the management failed to give good results, with the end of the 2018-19 season only securing Europa League football.

The only way, according to him, to continue at Roma is for the club to be managed under new ownership.

Francesco Totti spend his whole career in Roma, started in Roma and retired in Roma. He also joined the Italian national team. He got the red card in the controversial 2002 World Cup against South Korea, where Italy lost and the 2002 World Cup is a total scandal. He made 786 appearances for Roma, and netted 307 goals in total.
