Luka Jovic had just left Germany for the Santiago Bernabeu. His previous club, Eintracht Franfurt is desperate to find his replacement with the similar talent.
Now, the German club has finally found a perfect replacement for the Serbian striker. It's Dejan Joveljic, a Serbian player born at Bosnia and Herzegovina, aged 19, currently playing for Serbian club Red Star Belgrade. He was bought for around €4 million.
Dejan Joveljic started his career with his local club Sloga Junajted, then joined Red Star Belgrade. At March 2016, he signed his first contract with the Serbian club. Unfortunately, he failed to attend the 2016-17 matches with the team due to mononucleosis.
Joveljic returned to the team at early 2017. At the end of the year, because of his performanes, the Golden Boy Award was nominated to him. At the 2017-18 and 2018-19 season he became a third choice forward behind Aleksander Pesic and Richmond Boakye.
At the 2017-18 campaign he extended his contract until 2021.
